A bodycam video released by East Cleveland Police shows officers repeatedly telling the suspect to lie down on the ground as the female victim crawls away. A 13-year-old entered the emergency room at Madison Hospital with a gunshot wound to the back of the head after a fight with an armed man, East Cleveland police said.

The city of East Cleveland will continue to have to make do with little emergency money and continue to use services that are normally provided by the cities of Ohio. What is clear, however, is that it will likely have to reduce security forces if the federal grant is not reauthorized in 2019. The current military installation has opened up new opportunities and provided East Cleveland leaders with access to a wide range of services, including health care and education.
